🔒 Privacy, in plain words

Short version

Tangyuan Math works entirely in your browser. We have no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no third-party scripts. Your practice data never leaves your device.

What's stored, and where

The game keeps a few items in your browser's local storage so it can remember your progress:

  • tm_records — your recent practice rounds (limited to the latest 100, kept up to one year)
  • tm_wrongbook — the questions you got wrong, for review
  • tm_settings — your preferences (language, animations)
  • tm_lang, tm_challenge_level — language choice and challenge progress

You can delete all of it anytime: in the game, open Settings → Clear all my data. Clearing your browser data removes it too.

What we don't do

  • No sign-up, no names, no email addresses
  • No advertising, and no ad or tracking scripts
  • No analytics or profiling
  • No third-party fonts or embeds — the page loads only its own files

Children

Tangyuan Math is designed to be safe for young learners: we don't collect personal information, and nothing a child does in the game is transmitted anywhere. If we ever add optional cloud features (such as parent accounts), they will be opt-in, explained here first, and built with applicable children's-privacy rules (such as COPPA and GDPR) in mind.

Changes to this page

If our practices change, we'll update this page before any change takes effect.
